How does SpeeTile underfloor heating work?

The SpeeTile underfloor heating system uses durable plastic mats that are made from recycled material can be easily customised to fit any room layout. Heating pipes click securely into the mat, providing stable positioning and an even heat spread. SpeeTile is suitable for direct installation on concrete, screed, and stable wooden subfloors.

1. Floor Finish

This is the final part to your Underfloor heating installation, which can be tiles, stone, vinyl.

2. The floor levelling compound

You floor levelling compound is poured over the top of the Underfloor heating pipes and the Speetile mat. Ensure that when pouring all the air bubbles are removed from the compound to give it a smooth and flat surface. Min15mm.

3. The Underfloor Heating pipes

These underfloor heating pipes are slotted into the Speetile mats allowing them to stay in plac, allowing for the the self-levelling compound to be poured directly over the top of them.

4. SpeeTile mats

The SpeeTile mats come in both 10mm and 12mm thickness, this system can be secured down onto a Floor or Wall or ceiling.

5. Aluminum Reflection Foil

This layer is applied directly on top of the subfloor helping to reflect the heating up the way while minimizing the subfloor buildup.

6. Wall Expansion foam

This prevents any of the self levelling compound to seep into the surrounding wall and allows for expansion and contraction to occur.

7. The Subfloor

This can be either a wooden subfloor e.g. a Plywood, Chipboard or similar subfloor. Or a concrete/screed subfloor. The subfloor must be stable and level and to have no movement in it.

How does SpeeTherm underfloor heating work?

The SpeeTherm system combines high-density, pressure-resistant EPS insulation boards with advanced AluTherm heat-conductive profiles. This innovative design delivers fast, even heat distribution while creating a strong and stable subfloor.
This sytem can be installed directly beneath floating floor finishes such as laminate, parquet, and engineered wood flooring

2. Speetube Underfloor Heating pipe

The Speetube pipe slots directly into the Alutherm plates.

3. AluTherm Profile plates

The AluTherm profile plates allow for the heat to be transferred from the Underfloor heating pipe and evenly distributed.

4. Speetherm EPS Panels

These Panels come in either 15mm or 30mm thickness, they help to reflect the heat back into the room.
